Can I attend OLM Prep if I am not Catholic?

Absolutely! OLM Prep admits students of any race, color, sex, and religion, national and ethnic origin.

How do I know OLM Prep will prepare my child for academic success?

OLM Prep curriculum is closely aligned to Connecticut and National Standards. We will make sure our curriculum is aligned, and standardized test scores are noted. We will ensure long-term excellence in pursuing regional accreditation once a permanent facility is occupied.

Does an Elementary or Middle School need to be accredited or approved to be valid?

No. A school does not need to be accredited or approved in order to be recognized as a private school in Connecticut. At the K-8th grade levels, there are no course “credits” that are being transferred as much as there are years being documented as completed. OLM Prep will follow all State of Connecticut Department of Education requirements in regards to attendance. By filing a yearly attendance form in accordance with Conn. Gen. Stat. §10-188, a school is recognized as a private school in Connecticut. Filing this report will validate student’s attendance for school records. Our Early Childhood Center will be licensed with the State of Connecticut as a Child Care Center and OLM Prep will adhere to all regulations and policies set forth by this licensing.

Will there be Standardized Testing for my child?

Yes. Students will participate in progress monitoring at regular intervals throughout the year. The objectivity of the standardized tests leads to the ability to measure student learning and allows OLM Prep educators to monitor their instruction.

How do I apply?
